Prince George’s County man close to tears after revealing prize
A seasoned player with more than 15 years of experience, “Rob” says he was simply in the right place at the right time to buy a $200,000 top-prize winning Ravens X10 scratch-off.
A frequent player of Lottery games, the Prince George’s County resident reports that he usually breaks even on his purchases. Last week, he had just finished making his weekly football picks at the casino when he spotted the Ravens X10 scratch-off at a Lottery vending machine. A resident of a small town near Westphalia, he decided to give the game a try because it was fairly new.
Days later, while stopping at a gas station, “Rob” decided to check all of his scratch-offs for a win. That’s when the anonymous player realized he won the Ravens X10 game’s top prize of $200,000.
“When I scanned the barcode, I couldn’t believe my eyes,” “Rob” recalled. “It said I won, so I scratched the rest of the ticket to see the winning numbers, and I almost shed a tear. I was mind-blown.”
Asked how he plans to use his newfound fortune, “Rob” shared that he wants to help his daughter pay her college tuition. Before leaving the Winner’s Circle, “Rob” noted that his winning experience hasn’t slowed his love of playing Lottery games. “I picked up some tickets before I came here today,” he said.
Also a winner is MGM National Harbor, located at 101 MGM National Avenue in Oxon Hill. The Prince George’s County retailer will receive a $1,000 Lottery bonus for selling the top-prize winning instant ticket.
