Baltimore resident claims $31,454 prize on Trifecta bet
Getting to work on time is a challenge, said the Baltimore man, but one day he actually had a few minutes to spare before punching the clock so he stopped to buy gas. He made that purchase at Royal Farms #340 and decided to try his luck with a Trifecta wager for 10 rounds of Racetrax. That decision made him $31,454 richer.
The 43-year-old found Lottery luck at the Royal Farms #340 in Baltimore. He’s partial to Racetrax, especially having won a large Racetrax prize back in 2018. While completing his playslip, the city resident realized that he hadn’t seen horses 11 and 12 win lately. He then added horse number 10 to complete his Trifecta bet.
“It’s about time,” the happy winner said after seeing horses 12, 11 and 10 cross the finish line. He called his wife to tell her the great news but she thought he was joking. Apparently, the player pulled off a winning scratch-off prank years ago. He’s since convinced her that this prize is real.
The lucky man, who has worked as a carpenter for 25 years, says that he plans to use his winnings to pay off bills.
Also a winner is Royal Farms #340 located at 2000 North Forest Park Avenue. The Baltimore County store will receive a $314.54 bonus for selling a winning Racetrax ticket of $10,000 or more. The bonus is equal to 1% of the prize.
