Prince George’s County man wins $32,642
A Prince George’s County resident who spends his time helping folks through various dilemmas received a boost himself from his favorite Lottery game last week. The long-time Racetrax fan picked the right computer-animated horses in the right order to produce a $32,642 win, a prize that helps to ease concerns about the future.
“Racetrax is by far my favorite Lottery game,” the therapist told Lottery officials. “I love the different ways it has to bet. I play two or three times a week.”
On April 25, he visited Greenway Liquors in Greenbelt and placed a $1 Superfecta wager for 20 games with horses 12, 9, 1 and 7. Even though he’d never won a Superfecta bet, he said he tried it figuring maybe he was due. “All” he needed to win big was for those exact horses to finish in just that order.
It wasn’t until the next day that he realized Racetrax had rewarded his loyalty. “When I saw my horses on the Lottery App, I was amazed. I never, ever expected it to happen. It was crazy.”
The happy winner shared with us that his Racetrax win will allow him to pay a debt that he’s never seemed to be able to close out. “This wipes it away,” he said. “To not have it always in the back of my mind will be such a huge relief.”
The Prince George’s County business that played a big role in his win, Greenway Liquors, is located at 7533 Greenbelt Road. They will receive a $346.42 bonus for selling the Racetrax Superfecta winner.
