Player wins second jackpot in Jackpot Party game
Liberty Wine & Spirits in Randallstown had a party going on Tuesday — a Maryland Lottery FAST PLAY Jackpot Party, that is!
The Lottery retailer located at 3526 Brenbrook Drive sold a $139,808 jackpot-winning ticket in the $10 progressive jackpot game. Check your tickets for a win if you played the game at the store on Tuesday.
Lottery officials encourage the winner to sign the back of the ticket immediately and put it in a safe location. Winners typically get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim prizes.
The first progressive jackpot prize in the game was worth $179,756 on a ticket sold May 31 at Weis Markets #044 in Pasadena. The Jackpot Party progressive jackpot starts at $100,000 and grows with the purchase of each ticket until a progressive jackpot-winner is sold. The progressive jackpot amount is updated every 15 minutes on mdlottery.com, and an up-to-the-minute amount is shown on each ticket.
Instructions on claiming prizes in person or by mail are available HERE. Players must redeem prizes larger than $25,000 by mail or at Lottery headquarters in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330 in Baltimore. The Lottery’s Claims Center in Baltimore is open by appointment only (no walk-ins). Click here to schedule an appointment. Winners can also drop off a winning ticket along with a completed claim form and copies of their photo ID and proof of Social Security/Tax ID number in the Lottery drop box in the Montgomery Park Business Center lobby.
The Jackpot Party ticket went on sale at Lottery retailers in April. There are still lots of prizes remaining in this progressive jackpot game, including 38 progressive jackpots, 58 $50,000 prizes and 72 $10,000 prizes.
