Takes home top prize on Bingo X10 scratch-off
A Cecil County man knew he had a winning scratch-off but he was shocked to learn it was a $100,000 winner.
Our big winner, who chose to remain anonymous, went into the Port Deposit Royal Farms and purchased a Bingo X10 scratch-off. He said he just randomly selected an instant ticket that caught his eye.
After buying the ticket, he scanned it at the store to see what he won. He was surprised when the message that appeared sent him to Lottery headquarters to claim the prize.
He and his wife knew that he won a substantial prize, but they weren’t anticipating a top-prize win.
“We knew he had won something, but we just didn’t know how much.” his wife said.
“We thought it was a couple thousand,” he added.
When they got home and scanned the ticket on the phone, the couple was shocked to learn it was a $100,000 top prize.
“I couldn’t believe it. I was very happy to win,” he said
The maintenance worker said he plans to use the prize to pay off his mortgage and fix his wife’s car.
Lottery luck runs in the marriage as the winner’s wife also won a big prize on a scratch-off a few years ago.
The Royal Farms, located at 1336 Jacob Tome Memorial Highway in Cecil County, will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
Bingo X10 was released on March 18, 2024. The scratch-off started with six top prizes of $100,000. There are now three top-prizes remaining. There are still 12 unclaimed prizes of $10,000, along with prizes ranging from $10 to $1,000.
