Ravens Season Ticket Winners Enjoy Shopping Spree at Stadium

Next Ravens second-chance drawing to be held Oct. 15

Four lucky winners went on a shopping spree at the Ravens official team store inside M&T Bank Stadium, thanks to the Maryland Lottery’s Ravens Second-Chance Promotion.

Each winner received 2024 season tickets and a $500 shopping spree in the team store. Winners and their guests were picked up by a private car and brought to the stadium where they were greeted by Ravens alum Bryan Hall, who played on the 2012 Super Bowl team, Raven cheerleaders and mascot Poe. They helped all four winners pick out merchandise.

“It’s Christmas in October,” Bryan Hall said about the shopping spree.

Marc Friend from Essex is no stranger to Ravens second-chance prizes as he’s won twice before in previous years. Marc said his secret is to purchase Ravens scratch-offs immediately after their release date and to enter non-winners into his My Lottery Rewards account for the first drawing.

“I don’t believe there are as many entries in the first drawing and that presents a better chance to win,” Marc said.

He brought his wife to the event and the couple walked away with a hat, two sweatshirts and other goodies, including a toy for his dog. “Can’t forget about the dog,” he added.

Andrew Diefes of Edgewater was another winner. He attended the Sunday night win over Buffalo and knows that the weather is only going to get colder the rest of the season.

“I need a hoodie to keep warm,” Andrew said as he walked in the store. He purchased a Ray Lewis jersey with a hoodie. He also got a hat and decided to pick out a Mark Andrews jersey.

“Since I’m Andrew, I need an Andrews jersey,” he said with a smile.

Montgomery Village winner Clarence Morris and his wife grabbed Ravens jerseys and sweatshirts. Although he is a Commanders fan, Clarence does have a favorite player on the Ravens.

“I wanted a Lamar jersey,” he explained.

The youngest winner in the group was Jackson Hall from Germantown. As he left the car in his Lamar Jackson jersey, he said he was going to pick out another jersey. He immediately grabbed a #22 Derrick Henry jersey upon entering the store.

The college student said he came for the jersey but said his favorite item was an oversized Ravens hat.

“I am a Ravens fan for life,” Jackson said as he walked out of the store.
