Lucky player in Randallstown is new multimillionaire
A FAST PLAY progressive jackpot just broke records at the Maryland Lottery and created a new multimillionaire in the process. A lucky player purchased a $2,948,743-winning FAST PLAY VIP Club ticket in Randallstown this afternoon. This win tops the $2,620,246 record jackpot won in October 2021 on the FAST PLAY Diamond Mine game.
The winning VIP Club ticket was sold at J&S Liquors located at 10000 Liberty Road in Baltimore County. For selling the record-setting ticket, the Randallstown retailer earns a Lottery bonus of $1,000. This game began on July 3, 2023 and closed after the jackpot hit.
Lottery officials encourage the winner to sign the back of the ticket immediately and put it in a safe location. The player gets 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim the prize.
Instructions for claiming prizes are available on the How to Claim page of the Lottery website. Prizes of more than $25,000 must be claimed through Lottery headquarters, either in person or by mail. Lottery headquarters is in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330, in Baltimore. An appointment is required to claim the prize in person (no walk-ins).
