Becomes second progressive jackpot winner in Big Money Doubler
A Reisterstown man said he couldn’t believe his own eyes when he saw he won a $67,723 progressive jackpot in the FAST PLAY Big Money Doubler game.
“I went to the Royal Farms and I decided that I like that ticket. There was no reason. I just picked that ticket,” the lucky winner explained. When the Baltimore County man looked down at his numbers, he realized he won the progressive jackpot.
“I couldn’t believe it. I had to look at it again and showed it to my wife,” he said.
The 63-year-old works for a warehouse and plans to use his big prize to help pay for his children’s college educations.
He bought the winning ticket on May 11 at Royal Farms #034 at 15 Hanover Pike in Baltimore County. For selling a winning FAST PLAY ticket of $10,000 or more, the Reisterstown retailer will receive a 1% bonus of $677.23 from the Lottery.
The $5 Big Money Doubler game ticket has a progressive jackpot that begins at $40,000 and increases until a player buys a progressive jackpot-winning ticket. This is the second progressive jackpot winner since the game went on sale in January 2023. There are still 13 progressive jackpot prizes that remain.
