Lucky tickets sold in Baltimore City, Carroll County
Bonus Match 5 winners were springing up all over on Saturday, March 20. The first day of spring led to three Lottery retailers in Baltimore and Hampstead selling a combined five $50,000 top-prize winning tickets.
Check your tickets if you bought them at any of these locations for the drawing:
- Two tickets — Hampstead Liquors, 721 Hanover Pike, Hampstead (Carroll)
- One ticket — Pulaski BP, 3505 Pulaski Highway, Baltimore (City)
- Two tickets — Weis Markets #139, 720 Hanover Pike, Hampstead (Carroll)
The lucky tickets match the five winning numbers of 1, 14, 19, 27 and 28; the Bonus Ball was 12. Lottery officials encourage winners to sign the backs of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location. Winners typically get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim prizes. However, the Lottery has temporarily extended claiming deadlines due to Maryland’s COVID-19 state of emergency.
These lucky players can claim the prizes by mail or in person by appointment at the Lottery headquarters’ Customer Resource Center located at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore. Get details on how to claim by mail here, how to drop off your winning ticket with a completed claims form here and how to schedule an appointment here.
These five wins bring the number of top-prize winning Bonus Match 5 tickets sold in 2021 to 13.
The retailers also have reason to celebrate! The Lottery will give each store a bonus of $500 per ticket for selling a top-prize winning ticket in the game.
Bonus Match 5 drawings take place seven days a week. Players select five numbers ranging from 1 to 39. The Bonus Ball drawn from the remaining 34 numbers provides extra chances to win. Your ticket is a winner if you match five, four or three of the original five winning numbers selected in the drawing. If you match the Bonus Ball number, you only need to match four, three or two of your original numbers to win!
