The Week in Winners: FAST PLAY Ticket Makes Lottery Player in Cumberland a Millionaire

Nearly $32 million in prizes won in the past week throughout Maryland

A Maryland Lottery player in Cumberland bought a FAST PLAY ticket worth $1 million over the weekend, scratch-off players in Edgewater and Dundalk claimed $100,000 each and a Manchester Pick 5 player cashed out five tickets worth a total of $250,000, all in the past seven days.

In all, 33 Maryland Lottery tickets worth $10,000 or more were purchased or claimed in the week ending March 10, and players won prizes totaling nearly $32 million in that span.

Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes of up to $5,000 can be claimed at any of more than 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) locations.
