Players across Maryland won nearly $27.9 million during week ending July 17
A Maryland Lottery player in Baltimore City scored a $170,908 FAST PLAY progressive jackpot win on July 15, and three other players each won $100,000 last week, one on a FAST PLAY ticket purchased in Germantown and two on scratch-off tickets purchased in Pikesville and Salisbury.
The $170,908 FAST PLAY ticket was on the $10 Lucky Numbers game, which has a progressive jackpot that starts at $100,000 and increases with the sale of each ticket until a jackpot-winner is sold. The ticket launched with 40 available progressive jackpot prizes, and the Baltimore City win last week leaves 19 of those waiting to be won.
In all, 31 winning tickets worth $10,000 or more were sold or redeemed in the seven days ending July 17, and the Lottery paid nearly $27.9 million in prizes during that span.
Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes of up to $5,000 can be claimed at any of more than 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) locations. All Maryland Lottery retailers are authorized to redeem tickets up to and including $600. More information is available on the How To Claim page of mdlottery.com.
