The Week in Winners: Maryland Lottery Makes New Millionaires in Bel Air and Owings Mills

Players across Maryland won more than $38.1 million during week ending April 3

Maryland has two new millionaires — one in each in Bel Air and Owings Mills — thanks to Maryland Lottery scratch-off wins, and another eight Lottery players landed $100,000 prizes last week in Baltimore City, Bethesda, Denton, District Heights, Oakland, Rosedale, Temple Hills and Towson.

In all, there were 34 Maryland Lottery tickets worth $10,000 or more that were sold or redeemed in the seven days ending April 10, and the Lottery paid a total of more than $38.4 million in prizes during that span.

Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes of up to $5,000 can be claimed at any of more than 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) locations. All Maryland Lottery retailers are authorized to redeem tickets up to and including $600. More information is available on the How To Claim page of mdlottery.com.
