Players across Maryland won more than $32 million during week ending March 12
Two prizes of $100,000 on tickets purchased in Kensington and Westminster were the Maryland Lottery’s top wins of the past week. Meanwhile, Pick 5 players had a highly successful seven days, as there were 29 winning Pick 5 tickets worth $25,000 or more sold from March 6-12.
Pick 5 players have the option to purchase tickets for 50 cents or $1. The game pays a $25,000 prize for a winning 50-cent straight ticket and a $50,000 prize for a winning $1 straight ticket.
In all, the seven days ending March 12 produced 61 winning tickets worth $10,000 or more that were sold or redeemed across Maryland, and the Lottery paid more than $32 million in prizes during that span.
Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes of up to $5,000 can be claimed at any of more than 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) locations.
