The Week in Winners: Scratch-Off Sold in Silver Spring Puts $100,000 In Maryland Lottery Player’s Pocket

Across Maryland, prizes total more than $29.6 million, with 27 tickets worth $10,000 or more

A scratch-off ticket worth $100,000 sold in Silver Spring topped the Maryland Lottery leaderboard for the past week, with another four tickets generating prizes of $50,000 or more in Annapolis, Baltimore, Pasadena and Rosedale.

Across Maryland, the Lottery paid more than $29.6 million in prizes during the seven-day period ending July 7, including 27 tickets worth $10,000 or more that were sold or redeemed during that span.

Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes of up to $5,000 can be claimed at any of more than 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) locations. All Maryland Lottery retailers are authorized to redeem tickets up to and including $600. More information is available on the How To Claim page of mdlottery.com.
