$150,000-winning Powerball ticket, $50,000-winning Bonus Match 5 ticket sold
What a winner of a weekend! Lucky Powerball and Bonus Match 5 players won $150,000 and $50,000, respectively, in drawings on Sunday, Nov. 10 and Monday, Nov. 11.
Charles County is becoming a lucky location for Powerball players as a second $150,000 third-tier winning ticket was sold in that area in the past two weeks. This time, the lucky ticket was sold in Hughesville.
Check your Powerball ticket closely if you bought it at NSR Mart (Shell) at 7756 Leonardtown Road in Southern Maryland and added Power Play to the ticket. The winning numbers for last night’s drawing are 3, 21, 24, 34 and 46; the Powerball was 9 and the Power Play multiplier was x3. Since our winner selected the multiplier option, the third-tier prize of $50,000 tripled to $150,000.
The other $150,000 Powerball winner from Charles County recently claimed her prize on a ticket she bought in Waldorf for the Oct. 30 drawing.
There was also a $50,000 top-prize winning Bonus Match 5 ticket sold in Westminster on Sunday night. The winning ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven at 353 Baltimore Boulevard. The Carroll County retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the ticket.
The winning numbers to match for the Nov. 10 Bonus Match 5 drawing are 1, 15, 27, 31 and 32; the Bonus Ball was 4.
Lottery officials encourage all winners to sign the backs of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location. They get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.
Instructions for claiming prizes are available on the How to Claim page of the Lottery website. Prizes of more than $25,000 must be claimed through Lottery headquarters, either in person or by mail. Lottery headquarters is in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330, in Baltimore. An appointment is required to claim in person (no walk-ins).
