Powerball has created many third-tier $50,000 winners in Maryland in 2023 and the latest was a Pasadena man. He claimed a third-tier prize on a quick-pick ticket bought for the Nov. 11 drawing. The Anne Arundel County resident purchased his winning $2 ticket at Nautical Lounge, which is located at 8685 Fort Smallwood Road in Pasadena.
The last time the Powerball jackpot was hit occurred on Oct. 12, when a ticket in California won a $1.765 billion prize. The Mega Millions jackpot was last hit on Oct. 6 for $361 million and won by Blue Yucca Trust of Rapid City, S.D.
