Baltimore County man is second top-prize winner on 200X The Cash scratch-off
A Windsor Mill man will never forget his visit to a Baltimore liquor store as he brought home a $2 million prize on a 200X The Cash scratch-off.
The occasional Lottery player was driving through the area for work and needed to fill up his car with gas. At the same time, he stopped to buy a Lottery ticket.
According to the Baltimore County resident, he scratched his ticket inside the store and it revealed a “200X” symbol, with a prize of $10,000 beneath the symbol. The rules of the game state that the prize shown gets multiplied by 200. That quickly escalated into a $2 million prize. He scanned the ticket and confirmed the prize.
“I didn’t think it was real and I still don’t think it is real,” he said with excitement.
The financial analyst plans to use some of his prize to pay off bills, but is still undecided on how he plans to spend the rest.
The winning ticket was purchased in East Baltimore at Busy Bee Restaurant, Bar and Liquors at 4502 Erdman Avenue. The Baltimore City retailer has reasons to smile too as they will received a $2,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
This is the second top-prize winner on 200X The Cash. The first winning $2,000,000 ticket was purchased by a Frederick woman in January, but three top-prize tickets remain unclaimed. Five of the six second-tier $50,000 prizes are also unclaimed, along with prizes ranging from $30 to $10,000.
The 200X The Cash game, which went on sale in January along with a Multiplier family of games, has a second-chance promotion offering three more drawings with the chance to win $50,000 or $75,000 prizes.
