“Mr. D” of Prince George’s County wins big in June 20 evening drawing

Later, at another venue, “Mr. D” was waiting in line at a snack shack when he checked his Pick 5 numbers for a win using the My Lottery app on his phone. Overwhelmed with disbelief, he hurried to his car to verify the numbers away from the crowd. There, he confirmed his $50,000 win.
“I finally got it! I’ve been playing the same numbers for years!” exclaimed “Mr. D” after claiming his prize at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore. “I finally won!” He played random numbers before adopting the strategy of replaying his set of personal numbers.
This win marks “Mr. D’s” largest prize from the Pick 5 game. He also won $20,000 on Pick 4 using his personal set of numbers. Asked about his plans for the prize, “Mr. D” said he intends to pay bills, save for the future and treat himself to a well-deserved vacation. Reflecting on his win and the odds of playing Pick 5 again, “Mr. D” shared, “You better believe it, there’s more money out there to be won and I hope to win it.”
His lucky retailer, Capital Liquors located at 5950 Martin Luther King Junior Highway in Prince George’s County, can also celebrate. The business earns a $500 bonus from the Lottery for selling the $50,000-winning Pick 5 ticket.
